How to stream BGMI or PUBG Mobile with OBS on your PC
You play BGMI on your phone, but your stream works best from your PC: OBS, your facecam, your mic, your overlays and a steady upload. Here's the whole setup, from the cable to going live. Playing PUBG Mobile outside India? It's the same game, and the same setup.
Why stream BGMI from a PC
- Your stream gets OBS: facecam, overlays, alerts and scenes you can switch in a click.
- The PC does the uploading. Your phone only has to run the game; the stream goes out over your PC's internet.
- One headset. You hear the match in the headset on your PC, instead of an earphone in one ear and a headset half on.
What you need
- A Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) or Windows 11 PC, 64-bit, with OBS Studio 30.1 or newer.
- Your phone and its USB data cable: an Android phone (Android 10 or newer) with the free Casttit app, or an iPhone, which needs no app.
- Casttit for Windows. The beta is free for invited creators: get early access.
- Wired headphones or a headset on the PC. Bluetooth adds a delay you'll feel in fights.
1. Get BGMI onto your PC
- Install Casttit for Windows and plug in your phone. Casttit finds it by itself. On Android, the first time there's a one-time USB setup: Android setup.
- On Android, open the Casttit app, tap Start streaming and share the whole screen. On iPhone, tap Trust if it asks: iPhone setup.
- Open BGMI. It appears in Casttit on your PC, and its sound plays in the headset you picked in Casttit. Your phone goes quiet.
2. Get the phone ready
- Turn on Do Not Disturb. Your whole screen goes on stream, so messages and calls would too.
- Pick a frame rate your phone holds. In BGMI's graphics settings, a setting your phone keeps steady looks better on stream than a higher one that stutters when the fight starts.
- Keep it plugged in. Over USB the phone charges while you play. On long streams, take the case off if it runs hot.
- Leave Bluetooth earbuds off the phone. With earbuds connected, the game may send voice chat to them instead of to your PC.
3. Your squad
On Android, BGMI's voice chat comes through with the game sound: your teammates play in your PC headset, and your phone's speaker stays quiet. We've tested this in BGMI team matches.
Your own voice still reaches your squad through the phone's microphone, so keep the phone near you. Your PC headset's mic is for your stream: add it in OBS. Other ways to be heard: talk to your squad from your PC.
On iPhone, BGMI's game sound comes through the same way. We haven't tested teammates' voices on iPhone yet. If you try it, tell us how it went.
4. Set up OBS
- In Casttit, press Open OBS preview. A window with only your game opens.
- In OBS, add a Window Capture of [Casttit.exe]: Casttit Preview, set Window title must match and tick Capture Audio. That's picture and sound in one source. Step by step: Set up OBS.
- Mute Desktop Audio in the Audio Mixer, so the game doesn't play twice.
- Add your mic (Audio Input Capture) and your facecam (Video Capture Device).
Most phones are wider than a 16:9 stream, so you'll see thin bars above and below the game. Leave them, or crop them with Alt + drag on the source's edges.
5. Line up sound and picture
Record ten seconds of a fight and step through it: the shot and the muzzle flash should land together. If they don't, move Casttit's Sync slider. Why it happens and how to check: fix sound and picture drift.
6. Go live
Connect OBS to your channel and do a private test first: YouTube, Twitch or Kick. Not sure where? Compare the platforms, including Loco and Rooter.
Before every stream
- Phone plugged in, Do Not Disturb on.
- Casttit shows the game, and you hear it in your headset.
- OBS's preview shows the game, and the meters move for the game and your mic.
- A ten-second test recording sounds right.

Questions
Is it safe to stream BGMI with Casttit?
Casttit doesn't touch the game. On Android it uses the phone's own screen sharing, the same permission screen recorders use; on iPhone, the iPhone's own screen capture over USB. It never changes or reads anything inside BGMI.
Do I need a capture card to stream BGMI?
No. Casttit brings the picture and the game sound to your PC over your phone's USB cable.
Will my squad hear me through my PC headset's mic?
Not with Casttit yet. Your teammates come through your PC headset; your voice still reaches them through the phone's mic.
Is the setup the same for PUBG Mobile?
Yes. PUBG Mobile is the same game for players outside India, and Casttit and OBS are set up exactly the same way. We test with BGMI.
Can I stream BGMI from an iPhone on a Windows PC?
Yes. Casttit for Windows captures the iPhone's screen and game sound over its USB cable, with no app on the iPhone and no Mac.
