Open-source licences
Casttit is built on excellent open-source software. Each component keeps its own licence. The full licence texts come with Casttit, in the licenses folder next to Casttit.exe, and in Casttit's Settings → About → Licences.

Source code of the (L)GPL components
Casttit ships these components as separate, replaceable files. You may replace them with your own builds of the same libraries.
- FFmpeg 8.1.1 (libavcodec, libavformat, libavutil, libavfilter, libavdevice, libswscale, libswresample), LGPL-2.1-or-later, unmodified source: ffmpeg.org. Built with
--toolchain=msvc --arch=x86_64 --target-os=win64 --enable-shared --disable-static --disable-programs --disable-doc. - Qt 6.11.2 via PySide6 / shiboken6 6.11.2 (unmodified), LGPL-3.0-only: download.qt.io.

The Casttit app for Android
The Android app is built with the Android SDK and Kotlin (Apache-2.0) and uses no other third-party libraries. Its fonts, Sora and Manrope, are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
