Who we are
Casttit is a product of CarveIT Labs, Sangamner, Maharashtra, India. Contact: hello@casttit.com, or our contact page.
What Casttit is
- Casttit for Windows shows your phone's screen and plays its sound on your PC, in a window for OBS. With an Android phone it works with the free Casttit app; an iPhone needs no app.
- The installer sets up USB drivers for phones. Uninstalling Casttit removes them, and Casttit's Settings can give a phone back its file transfer.
- Casttit checks a small file on this website for updates. Your gameplay goes from your phone to your PC directly and never to us.
Your account
- The Free plan needs no account. Creator and Pro need a free Casttit account, so Casttit knows your plan.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself, and keep your email address up to date: receipts and renewal notices go there.
- A subscription runs Casttit on the number of PCs its plan states: Creator on one PC at a time, Pro on two. You can move a plan to another PC up to 3 times in 30 days.
- If you're under 18, you use Casttit and buy plans with your parent's or guardian's permission.
Acceptable use
- Stream and record only what you have the right to. Follow the rules of the games you play and the platforms you stream on.
- Don't use Casttit to capture someone else's screen, sound or voice without their permission.
- Don't share, sell or resell an account or a plan, or try to get around a plan's limits.
- The open-source parts of Casttit stay under their own licences: see open-source licences.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Plans, billing and taxes
- Plans and prices are on the pricing page, in Indian rupees. Paid plans are billed for a year in advance.
- Paid plans renew automatically each year until you cancel. Your bank or UPI app notifies you before each renewal.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, then Casttit goes back to Free.
- Any taxes the law requires are included in the price shown. Nothing is added at checkout.
- If a price changes, the new price applies only from your next renewal, and we tell you at least 30 days before then.
- Refunds and cancellations follow our refund and cancellation policy.
Trials and the beta
A trial gives you a paid plan's features for a limited time, at no charge. When it ends, Casttit goes back to Free unless you choose to pay. The Casttit beta and any test versions are provided as they are, to try things out.
Other companies' products
Casttit works with products made by others, such as OBS Studio, phones, games and streaming platforms. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners. Their own terms apply to them.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Casttit working well, but it's provided "as is": we can't promise it will run on every phone, PC or game, or without interruption. A few games block their sound from being captured. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything outside our reasonable control, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Casttit in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
If Casttit ever stops
If we ever stop offering a paid plan, we'll tell you first and refund the unused part of what you paid.
Changes, law and courts
We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed, and we'll tell account holders about important changes by email first. Continuing to use Casttit after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our place of business in India have jurisdiction.
