Is Casttit free?
The beta is free. After launch there's a free plan, and Creator and Pro plans with extras for regular streamers.
Do I need an app on my phone?
On an iPhone, no. On Android, the free Casttit app, plus a one-time setup on your PC: either turn on USB debugging, or let Casttit install a USB driver for your phone in one click.
Will it work with my game?
Casttit shows your phone's screen and plays its sound on your PC. On Android, most games let their sound be captured; a few block it.
Can my squad hear me through my PC headset's mic?
Not yet. You hear the game and your squad in your PC headset, and you talk through your phone's mic as usual. A headset-mic add-on, Casttit Link, is in development.
Do I need a capture card or an OBS plugin?
No. In OBS, add Casttit's preview window as a Window Capture with Capture Audio on: picture and sound in one source.
Is my gameplay uploaded anywhere?
No. Video and sound go straight from your phone to your PC, over the USB cable (or your home Wi-Fi with Android).
